    Job Summary:

    The Director of Franchise Sales is responsible for all franchise sales activity related to the development of new and resale Edible Arrangements stores globally. You will serve as a key contributor and driver of global strategic growth initiatives. As the head of the sales team, you will create the strategy for lead generation, sales process end to end and assist in closing sales. You will also assist in successfully transitioning franchisees to the real estate and construction services support teams.  This role has critical impact to overall company revenue and profitability as well as being a key driver in our brand’s continued development.

    Essential Function and Responsibilities:

    • Manage overall sales process; meet and exceed quarterly and annual quota targets
    • Manage team of in house Franchise Development Consultants and team coordinator and create a performance based culture
    • Drive single unit sales, multi unit sales and development plans to ensure company goals are met and exceeded
    • Nurture relationships with existing franchisees and support their enterprise expansion plans.
    • Oversee content development and maintain complete ownership of all Discovery Day plans and activities
    • Work with marketing team and outside agencies to implement effective lead generation marketing; track performance and adjust plans accordingly
    • Work closely with the legal team ensuring full compliance of all franchise agreements as well as protect EAI’s contractual rights
    • Provide leadership in developing and maintaining partnerships with appropriate departments and vendors
    • Become thoroughly familiar with and adhere to federal, state, and local laws pertaining to franchise sales and disclosure information
    • Forecast and analyze sales budgets for franchise growth opportunities
    • Create strategic plan
    • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or related field, with 8 to 10 years of progressive experience
    • Restaurant, quick service, or hospitality franchise sales experience/ background
    • A proven track record of demonstrated sales success in the franchise sales industry
    • Proven ability to represent EAI brand with the utmost level of professionalism and integrity
    • Must be an experienced organizational leader, demonstrating polished leadership, sales, presentation, and professional communications skills
    • Prior experience understanding and relating to numerous Franchise Partners
    • Experience in all aspects of the franchise sales industry including marketing and lead generation activities
    • Position based in Wallingford, CT
    • Excellent communication (written and oral), organization and problem solving skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Solid computer software skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
